Povzetek: V zadnjih letih se vse več raziskovalcev ukvarja s preučevanjem obnašanja nesimetričnih konstrukcij (glede na tlorisno razporeditev nosilnih elementov) pri močni potresni obtežbi. V članku so predstavljeni rezultati dveh najpogostejših - in v osnovi zelo različnih - računskih pristopov: nelinearne dinamične analize in nelinearne statične analize. Kot testni primer je bila izbrana štiri-etažna armiranobetonska okvirna stavba, ki je bila dimenzionirana po Evropskem standardu Eurocode 8. Obravnavani sta bili simetrična in nesimetrična iste stavbe. Uporabljenih je bilo pet akcelerogramov in dve različni normiranji. Pomik na vrhu konstrukcije za nelinearno statično analizo je bil v vseh primerih določen z nelinearno dinamično analizo (merjeno v centru mas). Primejališča horizontalnih sil za nelinearno statično analizo so bila vzeta po predlogu, ki ga vsebuje Eurocode 8 za poenostavljeno elastično analizo konstrukcij. V članku so prikazani pomiki, prečne sile, torzijske rotacije, etažni premiki in faktorji duktilnosti za robne okvire. Rezultati dobljeni na oba načina se dobro ujemajo, kar potrjuje primernost uporabe nelinearne statične analize in upoštevanih ekscentričnosti za potrebe simulacije odziva nesimetričnih konstrukcij pri potresni obtežbi

Inelastic behaviour of plan asymmetric building structures during strong ground motions have become a popular research topic in the past few years. The paper quantitatively compares the results of two most popular, however contradictory approaches: nonlinear dynamic analysis and nonlinear static (usually called push-over) analysis. As a test example a four-storey r/c frame building designed according to the European seismic code provisions (Eurocode 8) was selected. The non-linear dynamic analysis results for five different earthquake records (two scalings) for symetric and asymmetric variant of the structure are presented and then compared with the push-over analysis results. In all cases the push-over analyses were performed up to themaximum top displacement obtained by the nonlinear dynamic analyses (measured in center of masses). In order to match the edge displacements of the building, the points of load application for pushover analysis were shifted according to eccentricities that are proposed in Eurocode 8 for simplified analysis and elastyic design of structures. The comparison of displacements, base shears, deflection profiles, floor torsional rotations and storey drifts, as well as ductility factors for X and Y direction frames, shows a very good correlation of results and indicates that the push-over analysis and used eccentricities might be appropriate for simulation of response of asymmetric structures [COBISS.SI-ID 757857]
