Povzetek: Various analytical models developed to predict the nonlinear response of reinforced concrete structural walls can be classified into microscopic models. In the paper some of the models are briefly described and discussed. Three different models (one microscopic and two macroscopic) are used for the analysis of a simple test structure subjected to monotonic and cyclic loading. The analytical results are compared with the experimental results. It is concluded that a macroscopic multiple-vertical-line-element model is a promissing model which is due to its computational effectivness and adequate accuracy suitable for a practical inelastic seismic analysis of RC buildings with structural walls [COBISS.SI-ID 684897]
