| Summary: |
The seismic behaviour of several variants of a
four-storey reinforced concrete frame building without and with masonry
infill is studied by nonlinear static and dynamic analyses. The results are
compared with the experimental results obtained in full-scale pseudodynamic
tests conducted at ELSA in Ispra. It is concluded that masonry infill
strongly influences the structural behaviour and that the global seismic
response can be simulated by relatively simple mathematical models
