Povzetek: In the contribution, the theoretical background of the extension of the applicability of the N2 method to asymmetric building structures is presented.The contribution is prepared as an addition to the paper: P. Fajfar, A Nonlinear Analysis Method for Performance-Based Seismic Design, Earthquake Spectra, Vol. 16, No.3, 573-592, August 2000. The numbering of steps and of equations is the same as in the Earthquake Spectra paper. The paper is reprinted in this Proceedings [COBISS.SI-ID 1661793]
