Povzetek: Finite element formulation for refined linear analysis of multilayered composite shells is presented. An element has seven dof/node: three displacements of the middle surface, two rotations of the shell director and two displacements associated with the wrinkling of the cross-section. An underlying model is obtained by an extension of the first-order shear-deformation theory. We adopt an assumption of zig-zag variation of displacements trough the thickness of the laminate, and we use Reissner's mixed variational principle which allows independent through the thickness interpolation of two transverse shear stresses. Those stresses satisfy interlaminar equilibrium conditions. No shear correction factors are used. Performance of the derived finite element is illustrated with numerical example [COBISS.SI-ID 1257057]
