Povzetek: V članku je obdelan vpliv računskih potresnih obremenitev na stroške gradnje stenastih konstrukcij. Analizirali smo zgradbe idealiziranega tlorisa in različnih višin (P+4, P+8, P+12, P+16). Vsako konstrukcijo smo obdelali v dveh variantah (s prečkami in brez njih). Uporabili smo metodo računa po jugoslovanskih predpisih, pri dimenzioniranju pa poleg metode dovoljene napetosti še metodo mejnih stanj, ki smo jo podrobneje opisali, ker se pri nas manj uporablja, čeprav menimo, da je ustreznejša od metode dovoljenih napetosti. Ugotovili smo, da je povečanje stroškov presenetljivo nizko in da v nobenem primeru ne presega 1% prodajne cene stanovanjske zgradbe. V članku je omejen tudi program nadaljnega dela na tem področju, ki vključuje analizo okvirnih in stenasto-skeletnih zgradb, konstrukcijo duktilnega okvira in uporabo nelinearne analize

The influence of the level of the designn lateral forces on the cost of earthquake resistant shear wall structures is investigated. An idealized plan layout is considered. The number of stories is varied (5, 9, 13,17) and structures with coupling beams and without them are studied. The response spectrum method according to the Yugoslav code is used. In addition to the working stress design the ultimate strength design is applied. The ultimate strength method is usually not used in our practice, but it is our opinion that it is more appropriate than the working stress method. Therefore, a more detailed description of the ultimate strength desing is given. A surprisingly low cost increase was determined. The maximum cost increase, in the worst case, is lower than 1% of the sales price of the building. The program of our future work is mentioned. It includes the analysis of the frame structures, mixed frame - shear wall structures, the design of a ductile frame and the application of non-linear analysis [COBISS.SI-ID 1041761]
